Back after a long break, Tim, Jay and Terence dive into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to try to figure out where they could take things next (Warning: Infinity War spoilers if you somehow haven’t seen it). Then, they talk through what’s coming to E3, and what gets them most excited in this year’s lineup of new games from Rare, Bethesda, Microsoft and more.
This week it’s just Jay and Tim, so join us as we talk through what happened this week, from Louis CK’s surprise movie to Brand New’s brand new album. Then we break down the future of comic book franchises, and touch on what to watch if you’re out of ideas.
Man did a lot happen this week as we’re joined once again by Pete to help us get through a whole bunch of news and stories. We talk Spider-Man Homecoming and what (possibly) makes it the best in the franchise so far. To help out, we bring in our summer intern, Fran, to give us a teenage perspective on what’s clearly an all-ages blockbuster. Then keep us with us to get a mostly accurate ranking of Christopher Nolan movies and a breakdown of the latest trailers from Comic-con.
We brought our very own benefactor Chris on this week to help us talk through the Walking Dead finale and the latest controversies of the week.
Jay’s brother-in-law, Pete came on to do a deep dive into the world of television. We started with a recap of the show Legion but eventually made our way to the question “Is TV Better Than Movies?” Listen to find out. And check out our new poorly named segment Trailer Ketchup.
Tim and Jay once again bring on Terence to talk through the latest pop culture news, including the reasons why Iron Fist might not be a great show, the massive glitches in the latest Mass Effect and where the X-men franchise is going.
Jay and Tim bring Terence on to talk through the latest Nintendo Switch launch, and all the problems that go with it. Plus a belated review of 10 Cloverfield lane and… Garfield news?
